Role Overview:
We are looking for a hands-on and experienced Head of Finance & Accounts to lead all key finance functions across manufacturing, marketing, and corporate finance. This is a critical role that requires deep expertise in industrial finance, strong control orientation, and the ability to manage a lean team while driving process efficiency and compliance.
The ideal candidate is a Chartered Accountant with prior experience in the manufacturing sector, capable of owning financial operations end-to-end.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead costing, budgeting, and financial planning for manufacturing operations
- Oversee statutory compliance including GST, taxation, internal audits, and regulatory filings
- Manage balance sheet, P&L, MIS, and financial reporting
- Handle banking operations, including term loans, working capital management, and documentation
- Build and manage product-wise and customer-wise profitability models
- Improve and digitize finance workflows; implement analytics, dashboards, and automation tools (Excel/Power BI)
- Drive process improvements and implement cost controls
- Coordinate with marketing to monitor spends and track ROI (marketing finance)
- Lead and mentor a team of 8–9 finance professionals, ensuring timely deliverables and controls
- Act as a finance partner to business heads for strategic decisions
Requirements:
- Chartered Accountant (CA) – must
- 8–12 years of relevant experience in manufacturing companies
- Strong knowledge of costing, compliance, taxation, budgeting, and financial controls
- Proficient in Excel, and ideally exposed to ERP systems and Power BI
- Experience in handling audits, working capital, and banking relationships
- Strong analytical, leadership, and communication skills
