We are seeking a Platform Engineer with strong hands-on experience in AWS, Kubernetes, and ArgoCD, who can also contribute meaningfully to backend service development.
This role sits at the intersection of platform engineering and backend development. You will design and operate scalable infrastructure while building reliable backend services that run on top of it. You’ll help ensure that our systems are secure, observable, cost-efficient, and easy for product teams to ship on.
## Required Skills & Experience
* 2–5 years of experience in Platform Engineering and Backend Engineering roles
* Strong hands-on experience with AWS (EKS, EC2, S3, IAM, VPC, Lambda)
* Solid expertise in Kubernetes, Helm, and ArgoCD
* Proficiency in Go or Node.js, including API and microservice design
* Experience with relational and NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis)
* Hands-on experience with Terraform or similar IaC tools
* Familiarity with CI/CD systems (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI, etc.)
## Key Responsibilities
* Design, provision, and manage AWS infrastructure using Terraform or other Infrastructure-as-Code tools
* Operate, scale, and optimize Kubernetes (EKS) clusters
* Implement and maintain GitOps workflows using ArgoCD
* Build and improve CI/CD pipelines for automated testing, deployments, rollbacks, and releases
* Ensure high availability, reliability, security, and cost optimization across the platform
* Develop, maintain, and optimize backend services using Go or Node.js
* Design and implement RESTful APIs and microservices with a focus on performance and scalability
* Integrate backend systems with internal and external APIs securely and efficiently
* Collaborate closely with frontend and product teams to define clear API contracts and data models
