This is an exciting leadership opportunity to set up and lead the sales function of a new brokerage from scratch. The role involves defining the go-to-market strategy, building and managing the sales team, driving sales growth, and establishing strong relationships with clients and channel partners.

Roles and responsibilities:

• An exciting opportunity to take ownership of setting up the sales function of a new brokerage from scratch • Define the go to market strategy for the company, adopting a lean and high return on investment approach

• Build out the sales team and appoint relevant channel partners

• Create and implement effective direct sales strategies toward achievement of sales objectives.

• Take ownership of profitability for the sales function via effective P & L management

• Attract and retain key customer relationships, building and sustaining investment relationships with High Net-worth Individuals and Corporate clients

• Adapt in a start-up’s fast paced work environment with high pressure deadlines and ambiguous problem statements

Job & Skill requirements:

• Experience Required: 10 – 12 Years of Relevant experience in leading sales for a discount broker in India

• Have strong on the ground relationships with channel partners such as APs

• Have a granular, data backed understanding of what traders and investors want from their brokers

• Experience in setting up and leading sales functions in the broking industry from scratch is preferred, be it in new channels, or geographies or product lines

• Track record of success with meeting and exceeding sales targets in new and challenging set ups
