Role Overview
We are looking for a highly active, execution-driven Derivatives Head to anchor F&O strategy and derivatives-led growth. This is not a research or advisory role — the candidate must have demonstrable, self-managed P&L ownership in options buying and/or selling strategies. The role comes with a significant variable compensation component directly linked to trading performance.
Key Responsibilities
– Lead Futures & Options trading strategies — both option buying and option selling
– Develop systematic, repeatable derivatives frameworks for retail baskets
– Own and optimise P&L performance with full accountability
– Build derivatives-focused product positioning and retail strategy baskets
– Guide the construction of retail derivatives baskets (small case-style active management)
– Monitor volatility, hedging, and macro risk across portfolio
Ideal Candidate
– 6–12 years in derivatives trading with verifiable, self-managed P&L — not just research coverage or advisory
– Must be an active practitioner: option buying, option selling, or both — someone who sweats daily positions, not a passive allocator
– Experience in proprietary desk, digital broker, or PMS fund running active derivatives strategies
– PMS fund managers with active options overlay, and small case operators running F&O-focused baskets, are also strong fits for this role
– Strong command of options Greeks, volatility strategies, and macro risk positioning
– Comfortable operating in a high-ownership, early-stage environment with minimal hierarchy
