Role Overview

This is a founding engineering leadership role.

You will own the end-to-end technology stack, build the initial product, and lay the foundation for a scalable engineering organisation.

Key Responsibilities

• Own architecture, development, and scalability of the core platform
• Build and ship the MVP, followed by rapid iteration cycles
• Work directly with the founder on product, growth, and technical decisions
• Hire and lead the initial engineering team

• Balance speed of execution with long-term system design

What We’re Looking For

• Strong experience in building or scaling consumer tech products
• Prior 0→1 or early-stage startup experience preferred
• High ownership, speed, and strong product thinking
• Strong system design and problem-solving capabilities
• Experience leading teams or mentoring engineers
• Comfort with ambiguity and rapid iteration

Nice to Have

• Experience with high-scale, real-time systems or event-driven architectures
• Exposure to AI/ML-driven products, recommendation systems, or behavioural analytics
• Experience in gaming, trading, marketplaces, or high-engagement consumer platforms
• Full-stack capability or strong backend depth with product orientation
