Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Group Product Manager – IoT & Asset Intelligence to lead the product portfolio responsible for monitoring, interpreting, and acting on signals from connected energy assets including solar plants, inverters, batteries, and hybrid energy systems.

This is a senior, hands-on leadership role with ownership of the intelligence layer that transforms raw IoT telemetry into accurate, actionable insights for internal operations teams and end customers. Product decisions in this role directly influence system reliability, asset uptime, operational efficiency, and customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end product strategy and roadmap for asset monitoring and intelligence platforms.
• Design intelligent monitoring capabilities including alert detection, severity classification, diagnostics, and remote resolution workflows.
• Build scalable data models that unify telemetry from diverse hardware such as inverters, batteries, smart meters, and hybrid controllers.
• Extend monitoring capabilities across multiple connected asset types while maintaining a unified product experience.
• Create intuitive operational dashboards and information surfaces for support teams, field operations, and customers.
• Define high-quality signal-to-dispatch workflows that enable field teams to resolve issues efficiently without repeated investigation.
• Improve signal quality by reducing false positives, addressing telemetry inconsistencies, and enhancing alert accuracy over time.
• Prioritize product investments balancing reliability improvements with long-term platform scalability.
• Collaborate closely with Engineering, Operations, and Business teams to deliver measurable operational outcomes.
• Lead and mentor Product Managers, driving strong product thinking and execution excellence.

Required Experience

• 8–10+ years of Product Management experience.
• Strong experience building products around IoT, telemetry, connected devices, or asset monitoring systems.
• Proven ownership of products where hardware or sensor data drives operational decisions.
• Experience working with distributed connected assets such as energy systems, industrial equipment, fleet telematics, smart infrastructure, or similar domains.
• Strong understanding of telemetry challenges including noisy signals, missing data, protocol inconsistencies, and alert optimization.
• Technical fluency to engage with engineering teams on APIs, event-driven architectures, MQTT pipelines, data models, and scalable system design.
• Experience defining operational metrics such as uptime, alert precision, false-positive reduction, MTTR, predictive maintenance, or system reliability.
• Demonstrated ability to make product decisions under uncertainty using incomplete or evolving data.
• Experience leading or mentoring Product Managers and driving cross-functional execution.
