Role Overview
We are looking for a Credit Card Portfolio Manager to own and drive the retail credit card portfolio, with a focus on increasing spends, billings, ANR, revenue, customer engagement, and overall portfolio profitability.
The ideal candidate should have strong experience in credit card portfolio management within a bank, financial institution, or fintech environment and be comfortable managing the complete customer lifecycle in a fast-paced and dynamic setup.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive spends and customer activity across the retail credit card portfolio in line with business objectives.
- Develop and execute portfolio strategies to grow billings, ANR, revenue, and portfolio profitability.
- Conduct regular portfolio performance analysis to identify high-performing products, customer segments, and growth opportunities.
- Identify untapped customer segments and build targeted campaigns and offerings to improve engagement and usage.
- Manage the end-to-end customer lifecycle and drive portfolio activation, retention, and cross-sell initiatives.
- Track competitor activities and market trends to introduce new products, features, and initiatives that drive customer interest and fee income.
- Work closely with banking and financial institution partners to execute portfolio initiatives.
- Monitor portfolio risks and ensure compliance with applicable regulatory guidelines and banking norms.
Key Requirements
- 6+ years of relevant experience in credit card portfolio management or unsecured lending.
- Strong hands-on experience managing retail credit card portfolios.
- Strong understanding of credit cards, unsecured and secured lending products, assets, and liabilities.
- Experience driving key portfolio metrics such as spends, billings, ANR, revenue, customer engagement, and profitability.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate portfolio data into actionable growth strategies.
- Familiarity with RBI regulatory guidelines and banking norms.
- Strong stakeholder and program management capabilities.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to manage risk and complexity in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Graduate or postgraduate degree from a recognised university.
- Prior experience working with banks, financial institutions, card issuers, or fintech companies.
