We're seeking an experienced and visionary leader to head our steel plant, overseeing operations across DRI (Direct Reduced Iron), Captive Power Plant, and Induction Furnace facilities. The successful candidate will drive strategic growth, optimize operations, and ensure safety and environmental compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
1\. Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement business strategies to achieve plant goals, ensuring alignment with company objectives.
2\. Operational Excellence: Oversee daily operations, optimizing production processes, and implementing best practices to enhance efficiency and productivity.
3\. Safety and Compliance: Ensure a safe working environment, adhering to regulatory requirements, and implementing safety protocols.
4\. Team Management: Lead and develop a high-performing team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
5\. Cost Optimization: Identify opportunities to reduce costs, improve quality, and enhance profitability.
6\. Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders, suppliers, and external partners.
7\. Innovation and Technology: Stay updated on industry trends, exploring opportunities to adopt new technologies and innovative practices.
Requirements:
1\. Education: Bachelor's degree in Metallurgy, Mechanical Engineering, or related field. MBA or relevant postgraduate degree preferred.
2\. Experience: Minimum 20 years of experience in the steel industry, with at least 10 years in a leadership role.
