Principal Consultant — Enterprise AI Transformation & Delivery

Location: New Delhi | Client site with periodic travel to plant locations

Experience: 6–8 years post-Master’s

About the Role

We are looking for Principal Consultant — Enterprise AI Transformation & Delivery to lead a large-scale enterprise AI transformation programme for one of India’s leading cement and industrial conglomerates.

You will be the senior-most representative at the client, working directly with the C-suite sponsor and senior leaders across procurement, logistics, plant operations, HR and IT. You will own the engagement end-to-end — from problem definition and data discovery through implementation, go-live and steady-state operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Own the C-suite relationship, steering committee and overall engagement governance.
• Translate broad business objectives into clear scope, success metrics, priorities and delivery roadmaps.
• Lead enterprise-wide data discovery, solution design and transformation planning.
• Drive phased implementation and go-live across multiple business functions and plant locations.
• Work closely with SAP, IT, client business teams and engineering teams to manage integrations, dependencies and data validation.
• Build the client-side operating model, including workflows, SLAs, escalation mechanisms and governance.
• Translate AI/model outputs and detection logic into clear, actionable business recommendations.
• Manage scope, resources, delivery risks, change requests and commercial outcomes.
• Demonstrate measurable business value and identify additional opportunities for account growth.
• Lead stakeholder alignment and change management in a complex enterprise environment.

What We’re Looking For

• 6–8 years of post-Master’s experience, including at least 4 years leading enterprise-scale digital transformation or AI initiatives.
• Strong foundation in MBB, Big Four or equivalent Tier-1 strategy/technology consulting.
• Proven experience in a subsequent industry, product or delivery role where you owned implementation and outcomes.
• Demonstrated ability to independently manage CEO/C-suite stakeholders and senior client relationships.
• Strong experience managing end-to-end engagements covering scope, delivery, resources, risks and governance.
• Strong commercial judgement with the ability to balance client value and business economics.
• Excellent structured problem-solving, communication and executive presentation skills.
• Ability to operate across both business and technology teams, from senior executives to engineering/SAP teams.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in cement, metals, mining, chemicals or heavy-industry manufacturing.
• Working knowledge of SAP, particularly MM, SD, FI, PM or PP.
• Exposure to forensic analytics, risk analytics, internal audit technology or enterprise data governance.
• Postgraduate qualification from a Tier-1 institution.
