About Us

We are a D2C milk subscription business selling A2, Buffalo, and High-Protein milk SKUs, operating across 5 cities with its entire delivery operation run in-house - own manufacturing, no franchisees, and roughly 2,000 contractual delivery staff delivering each morning between 5 am and 7 am. The company has just raised funding and is targeting roughly INR 400-500 Cr in revenue over the next 4 years.

The Role

Our marketing organisation (18 people) splits into two branches under the CMO: Brand and Growth - the function this role leads. Today, growth and retention have no dedicated owner; the founder has been running performance marketing directly. This is a leadership hire, not a hands-on operator role: you'll set the growth and retention strategy and direct a team of three managers to execute it.

What You'll Own

  • Set strategy and direction across paid acquisition (Meta, Google, YouTube, programmatic), CRM/lifecycle and churn management, and trade marketing/BTL โ€” directing the Growth & Retention Manager, Performance Marketing Manager, and Trade Marketing Manager, who each own execution in their lane.
  • Assess whether the existing team can execute at the scale required, and make the call on developing or rebuilding it.
  • Use a dedicated Data Analyst (dashboarding, campaign performance, customer/market insights) to drive acquisition and retention decisions.
  • Build the growth and retention playbook for a subscription, perishable, daily-delivery business.
  • Report directly to the CMO on growth and retention performance.

What We're Looking For

  • 7โ€“10 years of experience, with a track record of having led, not just contributed to a company through a real growth phase.
  • Direct experience managing a multi-function marketing team, ideally spanning paid acquisition, CRM/retention, and trade marketing.
  • Background in a subscription-led, perishable or fresh-product D2C business โ€” companies like Country Delight or SuperPlum (~โ‚น150โ€“200 Cr revenue) are the closest comparisons, not necessarily dairy specifically.
  • Comfortable directing analytics support to inform decisions, rather than working off instinct alone.
