About the Role
We are looking for a Group Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) to lead the people agenda across a portfolio of businesses at different stages of growth. The portfolio includes mature businesses, rapidly scaling businesses, and emerging AI-led ventures with the potential to evolve significantly over the coming years.
This role requires a leader who can balance enterprise-wide HR strategy with the differing needs of businesses operating at varying levels of scale, maturity, and operating models.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop people strategies suited to businesses at different stages of growth, including mature, scaling, and incubation-stage businesses.
- Build differentiated talent and organizational playbooks aligned to the needs of each business.
- Strengthen leadership hiring, succession planning, retention, and performance management across the group.
- Design and strengthen a group-level HR architecture while enabling business HR leaders to operate with appropriate autonomy.
- Partner with business leadership to support global expansion, technology integration, and organizational readiness for future growth initiatives, including IPO preparedness.
- Provide strategic guidance in an evolving portfolio where some AI-led businesses may scale rapidly while others continue to evolve or remain smaller in size.
Ideal Candidate Profile
We are seeking an HR leader who has successfully managed people strategy within a complex organization comprising multiple business lines, P&Ls, talent pools, geographies, or operating models.
While experience in IT services or technology services is preferred, candidates from other complex organizations will also be considered if they demonstrate comparable breadth of organizational leadership and business complexity.
The successful candidate is likely to have:
- Experience leading HR for large, complex organizations with diverse businesses or operating units.
- A track record of building organization and talent strategies across businesses at different stages of maturity.
- Strong experience partnering closely with founders, promoters, or senior business leaders.
- Demonstrated capability in leadership hiring, organizational design, succession planning, and talent development.
- Sound business judgment with the ability to align people strategy to evolving business priorities.
Preferred Background
- Experience in IT services or technology services environments.
- Exposure to organizations managing multiple businesses, business units, geographies, or operating models.
- Experience supporting organizations through periods of transformation, expansion, or significant organizational change.
