Role Overview
We are looking for a Frontend Engineer to build and enhance a consumer-facing fintech product used by thousands of customers. You will own features end-to-end, collaborate closely with product, design, and backend teams, and deliver high-quality user experiences with a strong focus on performance, usability, and scalability.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain responsive, user-friendly web applications using modern frontend technologies.
- Own features from design review through development, testing, deployment, and monitoring.
- Build reusable components and contribute to the existing design system.
- Collaborate with designers and backend engineers to deliver seamless user experiences.
- Optimize application performance, reliability, and responsiveness.
- Participate in code reviews and maintain high engineering standards.
- Identify and resolve UI, usability, and performance issues.
- Ensure applications work consistently across devices and browsers.
Requirements
- 3+yrs of strong experience with modern frontend frameworks, preferably React.
- Solid understanding of JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, CSS, and component-based architecture.
- Experience building and shipping consumer-facing web products.
- Familiarity with state management, API integrations, and frontend testing practices.
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of features.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
Good to Have
- Experience in fintech, broking, trading, or investment products.
- Experience building real-time or data-intensive applications.
- Knowledge of accessibility, responsive design, and mobile-first development.
- Experience working in fast-paced startup environments.
