Associate Director/ Director - EM
Role Overview
The company is looking for a dynamic, high-calibre leader to drive enterprise implementation, client success, and operational excellence across a portfolio of large enterprise customers.
This is a senior leadership role focused on leading managers, overseeing multiple enterprise implementations, strengthening relationships with senior client stakeholders, and improving delivery processes at scale.
The ideal candidate will bring experience from consulting, programme management, operations excellence, enterprise technology, or scaled consumer-internet and logistics businesses. They should be capable of managing complex client programmes through teams, engaging with senior leadership, and moving beyond execution to an advisory-led relationship.
The role offers an opportunity to contribute to the evolution of company’s client-facing organisation, mentor the next generation of Engagement Managers, and establish scalable processes for enterprise delivery.
Key Responsibilities
1. Leadership & Team Development
- Lead and mentor Engagement Managers, building a high-performing team that can independently manage complex client programmes.
- For the Associate Director level, lead approximately 2–4 Engagement Managers, depending on portfolio size and complexity.
- At the Director level, lead managers of managers and drive performance across a broader regional organisation.
- Develop leadership capability, improve accountability, and accelerate the growth of emerging leaders.
2. Enterprise Programme & Implementation Management
- Oversee multiple enterprise implementations simultaneously across the assigned country or regional portfolio.
- Track implementation timelines, milestones, dependencies, and delivery risks across programmes.
- Identify bottlenecks and drive timely resolution by coordinating with internal teams and client stakeholders.
- Participate in major project kickoffs and Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs).
- Ensure consistent execution standards and strong customer outcomes across the portfolio.
3. Senior Client Stakeholder Management
- Build trusted relationships with senior client leadership and key decision-makers.
- Lead strategic conversations focused on business outcomes, programme effectiveness, and long-term customer success.
- Position them as a strategic advisor rather than solely an implementation partner.
- Work closely with Engagement Managers, who will manage day-to-day requirements and working-level client interactions.
4. Cross-Regional Programme Coordination
- Coordinate with Engagement Managers and delivery leaders across regions for global enterprise customers.
- Ensure alignment between APAC operations and other regional teams, particularly where customer programmes are managed independently across geographies.
- Drive consistent communication, governance, and programme visibility across stakeholders.
5. Process Improvement & Operational Excellence
- Identify recurring challenges across implementations and establish scalable solutions.
- Drive process standardisation, continuous improvement, and operational efficiency across the portfolio.
- Analyse implementation issues and customer feedback to identify opportunities for systemic improvements.
- Partner with Product teams to communicate recurring customer requirements and advocate for reusable product-level solutions.
6. Strategic & Organisational Contribution
- Contribute to the evolution of company's client-facing organisation, operating model, and leadership structure.
- Establish strong governance mechanisms and delivery practices across teams.
- Help build a culture of ownership, problem-solving, and client-centricity.
- Balance structured organisational processes with the speed and agility required in a growing technology business.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate:
- Leadership experience: Proven ability to lead managers and, at the Director level, managers of managers.
- Enterprise programme ownership: Experience overseeing multiple complex enterprise implementations or programmes simultaneously.
- Client advisory capability: Confidence in engaging senior client stakeholders and influencing business-level decisions.
- Operational excellence: Strong experience in process improvement, programme governance, and resolving cross-functional execution challenges.
- Regional exposure: Experience working with large enterprise customers in India or South East Asia.
- Organisational versatility: Experience operating within a large, structured organisation while demonstrating the agility and ownership associated with startup environments.
- Leadership trajectory: Evidence of taking on increasing responsibility faster than tenure alone would typically suggest.
- Academic background: A strong academic record.

Experience in logistics, supply chain, or enterprise SaaS will be an advantage but is not mandatory.
