Role Overview

The Head of Broking Operations will build and scale end-to-end broking operations function. This role is mission-critical in operationalising trading workflows, derivatives operations, settlement processes, and risk-linked controls. Given the derivatives-first nature of the platform, the ideal candidate will have specific exposure to F&O operations — not just cash market settlements.

Key Responsibilities

–      Build and manage end-to-end broking operations across cash and F&O segments

–      Oversee trade lifecycle: order execution, settlement, clearing

–      Coordinate RMS and margin-related workflows

–      Manage exchange coordination (NSE/BSE/MCX as applicable)

–      Monitor collateral, MTF, margin shortfalls in real time

–      Drive automation across operational workflows — system-led, not manual

–      Build SOPs, audit readiness, and regulatory compliance alignment

–      Hire and scale operations team

Ideal Candidate

–      8–12 years in broking operations — exclusively at fintech-first, digital discount brokers

–      Must come from system-driven, automation-oriented setups; candidates from traditional full-service brokers with manual operations (e.g., Motilal Oswal, Anand Rathi, Sharekhan-type setups) are not suitable for this role

–      Strong derivatives (F&O) operations exposure — specifically cash + derivatives settlement, not just cash market

–      Hands-on with RMS and OMS workflows

–      Ability to scale from early stage; comfort with ambiguity and building processes from scratch
