AVP - Brand
Role Overview
We are looking for an AVP โ Brand (Content Focused) to own the planning, production and execution of content across key consumer touchpoints.
This is a hands-on, delivery-oriented role for someone who knows how to take a content plan from brief to final output, coordinate multiple internal and external stakeholders, and ensure a consistent volume of high-quality content is shipped on time.
The role will work closely with the growth team and leadership to translate the brand direction into content across social media, app, WhatsApp, packaging and other consumer-facing channels. A significant part of the role will also involve managing shoots, creators, freelancers and external production partners.
This is not a traditional Creative Director role. While strong creative judgement is important, success in this position will be defined primarily by the ability to run a disciplined content engine and deliver consistently.
Key Responsibilities
Content Planning & Execution
- Own and manage the monthly content calendar across social media, app, WhatsApp, packaging and other relevant brand channels.
- Translate the content plan into clear briefs, timelines and deliverables for internal and external teams.
- Coordinate assets from briefing through production, review and final delivery.
- Ensure content is delivered consistently and within agreed timelines.
- Maintain visibility on work in progress, dependencies and upcoming content requirements.
Content Production & Vendor Management
- Manage a network of freelance editors, photographers, designers, production partners and shoot crews.
- Write clear creative and production briefs and ensure external partners understand the expected output.
- Review creative work and provide actionable feedback on quality, brand fit and execution.
- Manage production costs and work towards maintaining an efficient cost per asset without compromising output quality.
- Build a reliable production workflow capable of supporting a consistent volume of content.
Shoots & On-Ground Production
- Own product, farm and factory-related shoots end-to-end, including planning, coordination and execution.
- Work with photographers, videographers, production teams and relevant internal stakeholders to ensure shoots are completed as planned.
- Be comfortable being present on location and managing the practical requirements of content production.
- Ensure shoot outputs are translated efficiently into usable content across multiple formats and channels.
Creator & Influencer Operations
- Run the creator and influencer programme as a structured operating process.
- Source and evaluate relevant creators and influencers.
- Manage negotiations, briefs, timelines, deliverables and follow-ups.
- Track output quality and ensure creator content is aligned with the broader brand direction.
Growth Creative Support
- Work closely with the growth team to ensure a consistent weekly pipeline of creative assets.
- Understand creative performance data and use it to inform what types of content and formats should be produced next.
- Help increase the volume of relevant creative while maintaining brand and execution standards.
Brand Consistency
- Maintain consistency in the brand's voice, visual identity and core consumer narrative across all content.
- Ensure the brand's farm-to-home trust story is represented consistently across touchpoints.
- Translate the leadership team's positioning and brand direction into day-to-day content execution.
- Review outgoing content for quality, consistency and adherence to the agreed brand direction.
Candidate Profile
- 4-7 years of experience in a brand, creative or D2C growth agency environment.
- Experience in account management, client servicing, brand solutions or a similar role involving ownership of content delivery.
- Demonstrated experience managing content calendars across multiple brands, campaigns or workstreams.
- Strong track record of coordinating production teams, freelancers and external creative partners against deadlines.
- Experience managing content from briefing through production, review and final delivery.
- Comfortable working directly with photographers, editors, designers, creators and shoot teams.
- Strong creative judgement with the ability to assess whether content meets the expected quality and brand standard.
- Highly execution-oriented, organised and comfortable managing several content deliverables simultaneously.
- Comfortable working with performance data and using creative learnings to influence subsequent content production.
- Willing to take a hands-on role in shoots and on-ground content production.
- Pune-based or willing to relocate to Pune.
Preferred Experience
- Exposure to food, dairy, wellness, FMCG or adjacent consumer categories.
- Experience working with D2C or digitally led consumer brands.
- Hands-on ability to produce or edit content independently would be a strong advantage.
- Experience managing creator or influencer programmes as an ongoing operating process.
What Success in This Role Looks Like
Success in this role will come from building a dependable content operation: calendars are planned ahead, briefs are clear, production partners deliver on time, shoots run smoothly, creators are managed systematically, the growth team receives the creative volume it needs, and everything that reaches the consumer remains consistent with the brand's voice and positioning.
