HireVeda is an executive search firm working exclusively with VC-backed startups on senior mandates, CXO, VP, Director. We work with founders and investors who are building fast and need the right people in critical roles.

ExecEdge is a leadership career accelerator for senior professionals. We help them make their next move with clarity, strategy, and precision.

Both businesses are founder-led, growing, and at an inflection point. We're actively building AI into how we source, research, and advise. This person will be part of that build.

What this role actually is

You will work directly with founders of both businesses.

This is not a support role. You will not be managing calendars or coordinating meetings. You will work on projects that matter โ€” across BD, research, content, systems, and live client work.

The scope will expand as fast as you can handle it.

What you'll work on

The work cuts across both businesses and will look different week to week. Some examples:

  1. Mapping VC portfolios and funded startup databases for BD outreach
  2. Supporting active executive search mandates โ€” research, sourcing, candidate profiling
  3. Helping ExecEdge clients pressure-test their positioning and LinkedIn presence
  4. Building internal systems, automations, and research frameworks using AI
  5. Drafting content, briefs, and structured analyses for founder-level decisions
  6. Tracking signals โ€” funding announcements, leadership movements, hiring patterns โ€” and turning them into outreach opportunities

You will not be handed a playbook. You will help build one.

Who this is for

0โ€“2 years of experience. Freshers welcome.

You should be:

  1. AI-native. You use AI tools the way a good analyst uses Excel โ€” not as a novelty, as infrastructure. You've already built or automated something with it.
  2. High ownership. You close loops. You don't wait to be followed up with.
  3. Fast and precise. You move quickly without sacrificing quality.
  4. Curious about the space. Executive hiring and senior career transitions genuinely interest you โ€” not just as a job, but as a domain worth understanding deeply.
  5. A clear thinker and writer. Most of the work involves structuring information and communicating it well.

Background in business, humanities, or any field is fine. What matters is how you think and what you've already done with the tools available to you.
