Opportunity Overview

A high-growth, multi-entity business is entering its next phase of scale, with strong revenue momentum and a clear path toward public markets.

The company operates at significant scale across categories, with complex revenue streams, inventory-heavy operations, and multiple legal entities.

This role will anchor finance controllership and governance, while partnering closely with business leaders to drive performance and decision-making.

Role Summary

This is a business-facing finance leadership role, not a traditional accounting mandate.

You will work directly with the CFO to own end-to-end controllership, strengthen financial discipline, and translate numbers into actionable insights for leadership.

Immediate Priorities (First 3โ€“6 Months)

  • Stabilize and strengthen financial reporting and month-end closure across entities
  • Build tighter governance on revenue recognition, margins, and cost structures
  • Anchor business reviews with leadership, driving insight-led decisions
  • Strengthen audit readiness, compliance, and internal controls

Key Responsibilities

  • Own end-to-end controllership: financial accounting, reporting, audits, compliance, and internal controls
  • Track and influence business performance across revenue, margins, and cost levers
  • Lead audits and compliance engagements, acting as the primary interface with external stakeholders
  • Drive monthly business reviews with leadership teams, translating numbers into decisions
  • Partner with operating teams to improve working capital, cost efficiency, and overall financial health
  • Support IPO-related finance and compliance readiness, where applicable
  • Build and lead a high-performing finance team

Ideal Candidate

  • Chartered Accountant with 13+ years of experience in controllership
  • Strong exposure to scale and complexity (multi-entity, high-volume operations)
  • Experience in high-growth, listed, or IPO-bound environments preferred
  • Strong business finance orientation, not just accounting expertise
  • Ability to influence leadership and drive cross-functional outcomes
  • Proven team leadership and stakeholder management skills

What Will Not Work

  • Pure accounting profiles without business partnering exposure
  • Candidates who have not operated at scale or complexity
  • Low ownership, reporting-focused profiles without decision-making influence
